A superb remembrance of Francis Crick by Oliver Sacks.
This Washington Post article mentions research showing that talking blows away short-term and working memory, so it’s unlikely speech will ever be a popular mechanism for working with computers.
Might explain all those nasty cell-phone drivers too…
